Job Description - for a Software Testing Company - REMOTE assignment
You will play a dynamic role in our fast-paced environment and will be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment, conducting automated and manual tests to ensure the software is fit for purpose. You will meet with system users to understand the scope of projects and will work with software developers and project support teams identifying business requirements, providing objective feedback to software development project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis of software, and systems, to avert risk and prevent software issues.
- Running manual and automated tests.
- Testing in different environments including web and mobile.
- Monitoring applications and software systems.
- Designing tests to mitigate risk.
- Finding bugs and issues within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users and will assess code as part of the role.
- Writing and executing test scripts, writing bug reports, reviewing documentation and document analysis.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience with Manual and Automation Testing: stress testing, performance testing, functional testing, scalability testing.
- Experience working with: Selenium, Jira, Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Should be familiar with programming and using coding languages: PHP, Java, JavaScript. Knowledge of Python.
- MUST speak English (advanced level).
- Knowledge in Project planning.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- A true "can do " attitude, self-starter.
- Comfort working remotely.
